On the Playset (Michael and Tenchi only)

She laid on the plastic play set, her back aching from sleeping on such a hard platform. She felt like crying, but chose not to. There was a rather large stick leaning against the play set. She remember setting it there last night, using it as a crutch. She didn't want to get up. She was in pain and could hardly move because of her leg. There was at least one adult and one child on this playground, but neither of them noticed her laying there. She would steal from the adult's bag when they were watching their child. It would be simple, but she would have to move to do so.

Michael and his partner were moving through town, they had just finished a mission and Michael wanted to have some R&R. He happened upon the Park where they retrieved their missions from. He scanned the area to find the perfect place to rest. His eyes became transfixed on a child laying on the floor, she was obviously in agony, so, he ran up to her and put his hand out to help her up Oh My God, Are You Ok?

She picked up the sound of running. Was it time to strike? The sound got louder and louder. Somebody was approaching her. The feeling came up inside her. A complete stranger held his hand out and started talking. He noticed her pain, obviously. Why did he have to do this? Why did complete strangers have to do this? She didn't want to hurt anyone, but when people did this, she ended up killing. She started to breathe slowly, calming herself. She wanted to force a nod, but lightly shook her head in truth. She was lightly shaking. She quickly reached out and grabbed the stick that was of perfect height for her. She wouldn't speak. She couldn't. He should go away. Leave her here in pain.

Michael looked back at his partner then back at the girl. He started to smile at her Aaaw cmon, im here to help he dropped his laptop and backpack. He very gently wrapped one arm around her and helped her get onto her stick. He picked back up his bags and turned his attention back to her. He unzipped a small pocket and pulled out a bag of chips You hungry? he held them out ot her.

She shut her eyes and started to shake when he touched her. Destruction erupted on the boy's arm, cutting out some skin and muscle. "No..." She started to struggle, trying to get away from him. She lifted her stick and hit it against the boy. He was the only thing supporting her now, if he happened to let go, she would fall back on the platform.

Michael felt his arm get cut by some force, but, he used all teh strength he could to keep her up. Then he felt her hit his head, Ow, what the- he took the arm that wasnt supporting her and rubbed his head. The stick caused his eyes to water, not that he was crying, its just that when you get hit in the head it can cause your eyes to water. he pulled her up with both hands and stood her up straight. He wasnt sure what this girls problem was, he was only helping, she had no reason to be scared of him, no reason at all.

She fell. She was fine like that, why did he bring her back up? Her leg just hung there. "Stop..." She pushed him as hard as she could, which wasn't very hard. Tears started to drip down her cheeks. She held the stick in both hands, tightly. This man would die if he touched her again. She didn't want to kill. It just happened.

Michael backed up, he knew when soemone didnt want his help. His cut up arm just hang at his side, but, he kept smiling at her. He stood next to his partner and put his unharmed hand in his pocket. He, his partner and the girl stood face to face, he wasnt sure what to do next, she would definitly hurt herself trying to move around. He could have his partner cancel out her powers then she would prove to be of no threat. He shook his head, that would go against her free will, he closed his eyes and exhaled. He would have to wait for her to come to them, unless his partner had an idea.

She sat there, wiping the droplets from her face. She opened her tear-stained eyes and looked up at him. Even though she was still scared and was still practically crying, her eyes were emotionless. Her hand loosened against the stick and she backed herself up on the platform using her hands. One of her legs came up on the platform by itself and she lifted her other one with her hands to set it in place. She didn't speak. It wasn't the time to do so.

He crossed his arms and leaned against his partner. He might as well strike up a conversation while they were there. Michael looked up at the sky So, what bring syou out here, alone....in your current condition? he was obviously addressing the girl, she was annoyingly shy, even for him.

"Bad life..." She lowered her head, but kept her eyes open and stayed focused on the boy. It wasn't that bad at the moment. She hadn't talk to anyone but herself in so many years. A light rumble came up in her stomach, but she ignored it. She didn't care about eating. She simply sat there. She would say nothing but 1-3 word answers to this boy's questions. There was no reason to do anything more.

Michael nodded i could only imagine he stopped leaning on Tenchi and leaned over placing his hands on his knees for support. But, that doesnt tell me anything. he laughed Tell you what, ill give you my lunch i fyou tell me why your out here? she was obviously starving, and since not all contractors had emotions like him, she would eat, its the rational thing to do.

"Not hungry..." She wouldn't eat unless told to. She wasn't able to feel her hungriness. "I... wandered here..." What more was there to say? She could say that she killed everyone that tried to take care of her. She could say that she wiped out and entire station of police in less than a second. But, that would be too much and he would probably run.

Michael squinted at her Not hungry? so your stomache is lying? he chuckled. She was obviously lying, he heard her stomache growl. Michael sighed and rolled his eyes A deal is a deal. He reached into his bag and pulled out a bag of chips and a soda I dont eat very much he tossed them at her feet and smiled.

temchi then made his first movement during the whole encounter. he had been staring in to the clouds the whole time, such a bad habit of his. the thought of him once being a gymnist and being able to do dramatic jumps that seemed to reach the clouds haunted him. he then looked at her and sighed a little.

"sorry i wasn't paying attention" he said calmly

tenchi then blushed as he saw the girl, curse his shyness.

"umm, hello. im sagitarious, nice to meet you....." he said to her trying to get her name

She looked at the food. It didn't appeal to her. Nothing did. Only an order would get her to eat, nothing more. The other man standing there started to talk. He introduced himself. "Nova..." She chose to go by that name. Nobody named her, ever. She simply read it in an old American newspaper she found in the trash and she liked the word, along with the picture that went with it. Her last name, though, was actually her father's She figured out by a sheet of paper she found in the ruins of her foster home. What to do? She would just sit here and talk, see what happens.

Michael pointed at himself Michael Lamburo, and if the naem sounds American to you, thats because it is. Michael was born in Japan, but, his dad was an American scientist that was brought here to research the Gate. His dad mustve liked his mom because he decided to stay after he was born. He was picked on a little at school, but, other than that he lived a relatively normal life....until he became a contractor.

Tenchi looked around a little, he was still blushing as he kept looking at the girl, then he would look away. Tenchi then tapped Michael on the shoulder and spoke to him as if he hadn't known why they were there.

"why are we here again?" he said calmly, "Dont we have other things to do?" he asked, knowing that they didn't have anything to do, but it was in order to seem like a minion.

tenchi then noticed that she hadn't touched her food, this made him feel sorrowfull and it made him feel that no women should not eat. He then took a fork that he had on the plate and picked up some of the food and placed it near her mouth.

"eat, it's not in our intentions for you to starve a cute girl...." he said shyly as he spoke the last two words quietly.

She lifted her head, opened her mouth and closed it around the food. She didn't know why she worked how she did. Why she would only eat if told to. If she was given food, even if she was dying, she wouldn't take it. For some reason her body didn't get hungry or full. She had nothing to say. She noticed a bee start to float through the air. She swatted at it, but instead of flying away, it got agitated. It went down and landed on her leg. The stinger stabbed through her skin, but she gave no emotion. She simply flicked the dead bee off and pulled out the stinger.

Michael answered Tenchi's question. we're here to relax a little, you know, some R&R. Michael looked over at the girl as she started to eat, this puzzled him, she didnt eat until Tenchi told her to. So obviously she doesnt act unless she is told, or maybe that just for eating. Either way he could tell getting this girl to do anything would be a mission within itself. He turned back to Tenchi Got any bandages? he held up his arm, that was cut up by the girl.

Tenchi looked at him calmly as he held up his arm. indeed it was cut up, he must have missed the part that she had cut him. he wondered what she had done. Curse his cloud gazing.

"yea, sure." he said as he pulled out his own arm that had a bandage on it.

he then unwrapped the clean bandage that revealed a scar on his wrist. he thought that she wouldn't know what it was because most people who have heard of him in as another name never lived. he then handed him the clean bandage and looked at her again, lifting the fork to her mouth again as he saw her flick the bee off her leg.

"you should eat more..." he said calmly, though this time he showed more of his normal emotions rather then shyness

She opened her mouth and swallowed the food. "Why help me...?" She stopped shaking and was able to breathe normally now. She was fine with these people and they obviously wanted to help her. "I'm dangerous..."

Michael grabbed the bandage and wrapped it around his arm, then bit down and pulled with his head to tighten it even more. He then turned around and smiled at her comment. He had hard that line before, he didnt like to brag, but, the last person he killed said the same thing. His back was still turned towards the girl but his head was turned just enough to see her from the corner of his eye. As usually he was smiling Maybe we like Dangerous

Tenchi then looked at her, he then sighed and moved his chair close to hers. he was now going to act like his normal self, calm and seriouse. though in reality he still was a little shy. he then watched her as she spoke her words and his partner responded.

"dangerouse isn't an issue with us, and as long as im here i dont think its possible for you to be dangerous." he said as he let his arm wrap around her shoulder.

"Killed so many... didn't want to... it was an accident..." She started to cry again. Holes started to appear in the play structure she was sitting on as she relived past memories. It was horrible. She didn't want it. Why was she born like this?
