disguise of the mighty

tenchi looked really shy amongst all the high schoolers around him. Many girls were winking at him and blowing kisses at him, he was the new student, and he began to blush. he tried not to lift his head because of all the cute high school-er girls around him, but occasionally he would. And when tenchi did he would always se a girl looking at him with either a cute face, or a seductive one. he immediately looked back down at the ground as his blush deepened.

tenchi then made it to a class room that was on his schedule. he glanced back down at the sheet of paper as he read the class name in his mind. English...., he thought as he was about to set his hand on the door. though, to his surprise, another hand was already there. It was soft and smooth, and when he looked up to see whom it was from, it was a cute 16-18 year old girl looking at him.

"umm, im so sorry my apologies....." he said shyly as he pulled his hand away from the door nob.

The girl just smiled and held out her hand.

"not really a proper greeting, but it'll do. Im May, and you are?" she said holding out her hand.

Tenchi froze as his whole face turned red. he could barely make out words.

"im...im ummm, my name is.." he said staggering as she interrupted.

"ill call you no name, its fits you. Nearly as cute as you are." she said happily as she opened the door and walked in, "coming in?' she asked.

Tenchi nodded and thought that school wasn't the pace for him now, he had already done extensive studying to get to the place he was now, he already new this stuff. he sighed again as he walked away from the room. he then left the campus and sat outside on a bench. he was tired and hoped to meet someone not into him.

Koi was walking home to her apartment from an early break from work. Man the new intern was a handfull. Not worried about her boss since she was the most valued employee, she rushed out of there and headed for the long way home. The local highschool was on the way on her trip. Every now and then she went inside to visit her old teachers, she glady attended this school with the highest grades, despite the fact the school wasnt that difficult to achieve highly.
Still quickly walking, she noticed a boy, sitting lonely on a bench. She saw that hardly no one else outside the school, and found it a bit odd for a student to be ditching school and think of hanging out near it.
Not noticing, Koi stood still and just stared at the boy in plain view. Is......he upset?

tenchi gave a deep sigh as he though that he had much work to finish back at work. he had to hunt down many more contractors to hire, so that they could help him complete his goal. though it was alot harder then it sounded. he gave another sigh as he noticed something at the corner of his eye, it was a girl. And in his opinion, a cute one. he began to blush as he noticed her starring at him. was she another one of those obsessive girls. he merely continued his blush and looked donw in embarresment.

Koi saw that the boy dropped his head lower than before. Has he being bulllied? Lady troubles? Grades slipping? Didnt matter... In her original nature, she couldnt help but go and see what was wrong. SHe wasnt in any hurry or anything anyway, and making someone feeling better always made Koi happy herself.
So she decided to quietly but quicky go to him. Without being noticed, she stood in front of him, her hands held behind her back and a curious smile on her face. She intently waited, knowing that he had to notice her at some point.

tenchi was hoping she would just pass by. he hoped she would just pass him and not take any notice of him as he looked at the ground. he then stopped hearing her foorsteps and thought she had left. he then lifted his head still blushing, only to see that she was still there. he looked at her and his blush deepened. He couldn't find any words to say and he couldn't make any kind of movement. After a couple seconds of just staring at this girl he thought was cute, he merely spoke two shy words."

"ummm...hello..." he said shyly

Koi's smile only strengthened as she saw that he finally noticed her. At least now she guessed he wasnt a stubborn one.
Hi she whispered while concealing a giggle, and slowly waved.
Almost as low as the boy said. It was a tease, and she had hoped that she didnt make the wrong first impression.

tenchi then looked at erh still as he complimented her in his mind. So cute, so adorable, So.......What the hell am i thinking! he then reached his arm out to her as he attempted to hisde his blush by pulling his jacked over his face and shyly looked away.

"umm...im..im Kenichi....." he said shyly telling her his name as a student.

he couldn't believe this, but she was holding back a giggle. this made him more shy as he thought that this, what he thought might be a normal girl, was actually talking to him.

Koi jolted to the side to take a seat next to him, leaning farward to clearly see his face more clearly. Kenichi introuduced himself without even being asked by her. That only made her worry less. So.......What happens to be the problem, Kenichi? SHe slowly asked. His body language and voice reminded her of the reincarnation of Sajin, shy and reserved. But Kenichi seemed frustrated, which the little Sajin could not show.

tenchi shivered in embaressment as he saw her sit next to him. his face was now completely red from embarresment. he couldn't believe she was talking to him and that she was aking how he was. he smiled and looked at her, face still red.

"umm, nothing, im just trying to avoid my life for now." he said shly

He then got a text message on his phone. it buzzed in his pocket. he looked a little curious and opened his phone.

there is a contractor in the area, be preparred.

he then looked serious for a second as he closed the phone. this ment that he might have to attempt to hire another agent for the syndacate. right now, after the accident between the black reaper, most of the syndacate had fallen apart and had deteriorated. This made him a little angry, yet he quikjely changed to his cute boy outlook and turned to the girl.

"my apologoes...how rude of me..how are you today." he said shyly

It was an odd answer that Koi recieved...Avoid my life for now..Such a void thing to say for someone his age, but she guessed everyone had their own perspective, he probably didnt like school as much as she did, nad she kindly respected that. However, she couldnt comment on his answer, she couldnt since he added onto it.
Even with Kenichi's swift, consealed movments, Koi saw. At least she think she saw. There was a slight glare and he tilting it toward him so she wasnt sure. The phone seemed to say Contracto...Maybe he was from a spanish country, and that was a term for contact. The last thing Koi wanted to think was the worst. So she forgot about it and kept her attitude up.

Oh i all fine and dandy, she sang quietly..Koi didnt prefer to talk about herself, so she aimed another question to Kenichi. Uh...is there anything i can do to help you...not want to avoid your life?? SHe went and giggle at her own wording.

tenchi looked at her and smiled, she was asking about him and he really thought it was a nice thing for her to do. he thought that this girl could really be someone whom he could enjoy spending time with, or maybe fill out his contract with....what the hell am i thinking! he quikly regained his shy emotions from his imagination and he said.

"no its nothing. im an exchange student and i already learned everything they are teaching, that and the girls there scare me." he said shyly, but as a joke.

His phone then buzzed again, it was from a tracker doll he had in his ranks. he was shocked to get a text from him and he quikely looked at it. it read.

She is the contractor.

He looked shoked as he read this, he then quikely closed the phone and shuddered. this was such a heartbreak, but he refused to believe this, it must have been some other girl. he then looked at her again and smiled at her. he then looked at her smiled. he then looked a little sad. he couldn't let his emotions get the best of him. he then decided to go somewhere more discrete and not in the open. he stood up and held his hand out to her.

"want to ummm. .........walk with me?" he said shyly scratching his head with his other hand.

Koi wanted to say touche but that was too intreging. SHe was also an exchange student, but she took advantage of that in school. SHe giggled in her head, the high school girl comment was very true, she had bumped into a group of them and saw how vulnerable they were to cute things, or cute people in this case.

So far she hoped she was some help, even if she didnt get straight, comfirmed answers. No, its nothing was always the cover answer...
For a moment she glanced away thinking about that, not noticing Kenichi got up from the bench, holding a hand out to her.

Before giving an answer, she stared in surprize for a moment. ...sure, why not...After loosly taking his hand, she stood about his hieght. For a high school student, he was tall, and she was in heels too. A little wowed Koi was, but she didnt show it. So where do u plan to walk to? she asked curiously..

"you'll see" he said hapilly

tenchi looked at her as she accepted his offer, it made him smile as he thought that she might actually be a girl he would ask out, no matter her age...wait...this wasn't the time to think about that. he then pulled her gently as he walked into an unpopulated area and the stopped. he then looked into her eyes and leaned his head forward, it seemed like he was going to kiss her, but then his head passed her until it was right beside hers. he then had a calm and still shy voice as he spoke.

"are you a contractor? please tell me that your not, i really liked you." he said calmly

With no protest, Koi followed..To this place where she hadnt often been to. Wasnt a suspicious place, just a...a another place. She looked around to define where they truely were, only looking back to see Kenichi's head extremly close to hers. However she didnt jolt back as she would usually would. Despite the fact there was no harm in this person.

But all postive thoughts left her mind when he asked the worst. She frowned for just an instant, but then sympatheticly smiled, her eyes transfixed to no particular place
.................I am not a contractor, Kenichi.. Koi said without any hesitation, nor guilt. Her words were solid and honest, and she didnt even bother to ask him the question if he was. It has no significance.

tenchi looked at her and seemed to truely trust her, but he did now, after many years of fighting, that contractors are liers. he then looked at her one more time and looked deeply into her eyes. he then let his head go forward again, this time actually kissing her. he kissed her for 10 seconds and pulled away. he looked sad and a little unsure of himself. this was one of tenchi's few true emotions. confusion and sadness.

"Are you telling me the truth......" he said softly

it might have been his payment to kiss someone for 10 seconds, but that wasn't what it was for. it was to hopefully get the truth from her if she was or not. if she was, then he would have to think of something. after what she had done today to him, he grew attatched to her, witch would make him uncapable to continue his leading in the syndacate. he was already on the edge because of his age to be leader.

I guess dazing was a bad idea for Koi to do, All at once she blanked out, before she knew it Kenichi was already kissing her. Once again, instead of pulling nervously back, she froze. She was speechless, shocked frozen. Pratically like a highschool girl breathless from her frist first, minus the crazy scream in the end. That was truly unexpected to Koi.

Moments past after his question. she was still lost at words as she covered her mouth, still surprised on what happened.. Uh...SHe managed to only say. Did i mention that she wasnt as strong when it came to non-familiar emotions? No, correction, she was a complete wreck. And this bounced her back about 6 years. But Koi answered through it. Yes, i have no reason to lie to you. she finally said absoletly.

Kenichi looked sag as he looked at the ground a little. he didn't wnat to take her in, nor did he want the syndacate to influence her. he then looked at her and sighed. he opened his backpack and pulled out a mask, a mask known by all contractors as the mask of the Oppressor, the contractor that nutralized all abilities around him. he did this to show her who he was. he then looked at her sadly again as he put it back.

"i... i want you to run. run away from here and dont look back. Ill make sure your safe from us" he said shyly and with sadness, "My real name is tenchi nakamura, im the leader of the syndacate. there is no reason for me to lie to you either. now run." he said calmly.

As messed up as this may seem, Koi didnt feel any emotion at the fact who Kenichi was, or just really Tenchi. She didnt feel guilt nor sorrow, she was blank. There was no guilt because there was no backfall to lying. There was no lie because she, Koi Morimoto wasnt a contractor. Her and her 'other self' were two different people. But now that she knew the real case, maybe she should have contridicted the decision she made. No, all was fine.

Run? she asked retorically...SHe chuckled in her mind, this felt like a scene from a movie, it was too bad she couldnt play it. I know your sad and all..But im one person u shouldnt worry about just yet....Koi had no clue what she was saying, maybe it was the accumlative acting..Quickly she pulled herself back together. SHe put her hand lightly on his cheek. Im not that important......She whispered, then she calmly started walking away, ironicly, not looking back.

tenchi watched a she walked away. the light touch on his cheek made him feel shy on the inside, yet he did not show it. he was seriouse and he ment what he said. he eally didn't wnat her involved with the syndacate, and in truth he was supposed to kill her. he sighed as she walked away. he didn't want to leave her, but it was for her own good. he then thought if this was the last time he would see her, he turned to say bye and that he wouldn't mind seeing her again, but the words escaped him and nothing came out. his phone began to buzz agina as another text came up.

She just passed you.

he texted back

she escaped

he then shut his phone and looked at her as she walked away, the words "just yet" echoeing through his mind. he was wondering if she was a danger or not. he then thought of something swift and rash. he took out a piece of paper and wroet down a number. a then attatched it to one of his hooked blades attatcehd the the wire mechanism on his vest. he then threw the blade as a wIall beside her. it seemed to stick out as the paper moved.

"I...I want to see you agian." he said shyly

Just as she turned the other way, her false smile instantly dropped. In silence she walked for moments, until Eeeeppp!!!! she squealed as she jolted back in shock from the sudden object thrown near her. Quite an act for her to do, but any other girl would have done the same thing, so it was appropriate. With big eyes she looked back at Tenchi, then at the piece of paper. It looked like a phone number. Then the stuttered word of 'i' repeated in her head.

Well isnt that an odd way of showing it...Koi mumbled quietly But,......Who, wants to see me again?...Kenichi..or Tenchi? she asked, squinting a bit and her arms crossed. She wondered if it was the school boy asking..or the contractor. Either one, didnt matter because this was the last time she would do something like this...(thatwasalie)...All that she has worked for to keep her two lives separate would crumble into ruins if even the slightest of anyone knew.

Tenchi jumped as she...eepped. it surprised him and made him jump from being startled. how embarresing for him to do such a thing, but he hoped she didn't notice. he just grabbed a hold over his chest and felt his heart beat slowly go to its normal pace. he then looked at her make eye contact with him again and began to blush. he may have been a strong figure when it came to contractors, but he was still only a kid.

he then heard her say the first thing and began to chuckle.

"sorry, it was the only thing i could come up with on short notice" he said smiling and scratching his head, embarressed.

He then listened to her question and his smile began to fade. she might be an exellent agent for the syndacate, but he told her that he would keep her safe from him as a contractor. he then smiled as his blush deepened

"well....ummm..Kenichi...." he said shyly as he turned his head a little so she would not see his blushing face

So i guess it was the school boy asking...Koi thought..She had wondered why he really chose his answer to be Kenichi..However based on that....Koi assumed Tenchi was incomplete as a person, and may be easily grew imprinted upon something that was denied from him. SHe didnt know, she just trying to think intently so she wasnt the slightest of sure.

SHe thought unselfishly for a moment before answering. Hn.....U know, id like to see you guys again also...She said while taking the piece of paper and quickly taking out a marker she had in her back pocket [used to deny requests at work] and dropped it on the ground..

Koi slowly bowed down with her hands put together and said something in chinese mandarin, then quickly disappeared around the corner. She had hoped that Tenchi would at least go and pick up the pen.

[OoC DOnt try and follow her, its like one of these scenarios where she MAGICALLY disappears btw the pen...has a her no. on it i guess, like those business major things.. imcreativelikethatXP]

he watched her dissapear as he though about the next time he would see her. he then saw her drop the pen as he pulled the wire attatched to the hooked blade in order for it to reel itself back into his vest. he walked pver to it and picked it up. When he stood up to tell her what she had dropped, she was gone. He then looked back at the pen and noticed the number, it made him smile and blush slightly. Kenichi was really growing fond of her.

Though, right as he looked at the number, a figure appeared next to him. it wore the Oppressor mask and the black cloack Tenchi wore when in fight. The figure turned to him slowely. This was his alternate personalities talking to each other.

"why did you let her go, why did you let her escape? Kenichi, you have a responsibility to capture, or kill contractors. You failed to do either of them." The dark Tenchi spoke calmly and without emotion.

The real Tenchi then frowned as his eyes began to grow hollow and empty. he new what his responsibility was and he new that he failed.

"she is good, she doesn't deserve to be captured, nor killed." Tenchi said in a sad voice.

"Kenichi, dont let your emotions get in the way of our goal. you are cursed when it comes to emotions, yet your intentions must stay intact." the black figure said calmly, "Don't do it again. Next time you see her, you might as well kill her."

The figure then seemed to vanish in a black mist, leaving the real Tenchi alone
