Djay is a very serious spirit. Though he loves to insult his comrades, though his insults are usually true. he never makes up things about other people or lie because he beleives it is idiotic. he reads, so he knows alot of history and about what the world is like. he always is calm and NEVER panics. he thinks strategically all the time, especially in battle. he thinks of every possibility he can before he makes a final decision. his final decission often results in him succeeding. His calm personality also gives him a big ego. he thinks very highly of himself and fights people in order to perserve his "pride". With women though, he respects them. he is a gentlemen and often becomes alot nicer to them.

History:
Djay maxamillion payne was a contractor at the young age of 8. much about him is still a mystery, though what people do know about him is not very pleasant. though, what people dont know is what happened to Djay before he became a killer. Djay was born in a house of poverty, his family working all day in order to get just enough food for the rats. the family soon left the child on his own as they began to only care for their own surival. one was said to have been shot down by the cops as he tried to rob a drug store. the mother was said to have gone into prostitution. her location or if she is alive or not is unknown. But when they left Djay, he was 4 years of age. he could not yet fend for himself in the real world. but he was found. two days afetr being starved he was founded by a black boxer whom was now backrupt. the boxer took djay in as his own and began to train him to fight as well as teach him to steal, and fend for himself in the real world. when Djay was 8 he became a contractor and almost killed the boxer. his new ability to change the integumentary system (skin) into diamond, and to be able to manipulate its form was amazing. djay was ashamed though, he felt no remorse or any other emotion for the boxer other than pity for his weakness and his patheticism. Djay than killed the boxer by stepping on his head, he soon left the scene of the crime after the fact.

Soon his ability became noticed by PANDORA and they adopted him into their organization. they treated him well and gave him the life he only could have wished for, witch was easy because djay's life was crap to begin with. Though, their only goal was to manipulate him in order to use him to go out past the gate and for him to retrieve and study what is behind it. He also was a tool used to kill all whom were thought to be a threat to the gate and PANDORA. Djay didn't think much of this though, because he actually found killing amusing, the studing he didn't take much interest or disliek to though. it was more of a nutural activity to him. PANDORA also gave Djay a partner, one that he could have to assist him in his studies of the gate and the killing of PANDORA's enemies. Her name was Una, and Djay took quite a liking to her. he trusted her and cared for her like she was what he lived for. he would do anything in order to protect her. soon, PANDORA realized his connection with him and the doll, finding it quite odd for a contractor to have such feelings for a doll. but, as long as he did his job he was ok.

At the age of 14, both him and Una became quite famouse amongst everyone. the police called him by his code name ZZ-340 and feared any noticed that had his code name involved in it. contractors called him the rainbow death because when he would turn himself into his diamond for, he would give off a elegant shine of many colors due to the fact that his diamond armor is irredecent. Djay though, perfered to be called by his code name. he beleived that people whom called him by the other name were merely afraid. and he saw fear as a sign of weakness. even at this age djay thought that weakness was the most pathetic thing around. if he saw anyone as weak, he would try to kill him or her. He is still used as the head weapon of PANDORA and is still feared by many to be a reaper of many colors.
